More than 20 international awards plus numerous finalists since January 2024, including Indonesia’s first & only D&AD Yellow Pencil. The inspiration for this project stemmed from Indonesia’s hot and humid climate, which provides an ideal breeding ground for flies. These insects can transmit more than 65 diseases. Unfortunately, children are often more susceptible to these diseases due to their sometimes neglectful hygiene practices during mealtimes. Yellow Canteen showcases the power of ‘yellow’ and the impact of innovative solutions. By using the colour yellow to repel flies, it has demonstrated the effectiveness of simple yet impactful ideas in our communities.
